Apostle Bishop Dr. Crystal J. McQueen was born to Gayle and the late Bennie Lee Durring on February 25, 1971, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In 1977, she moved with her family to Toledo, Ohio, where she grew up. She graduated in 1989 and continued into higher education, obtaining her associate in corrections and bachelor’s in criminal justice from the University of Toledo. In 2015, she received her Master of Arts in Non-Profit Management and Leadership, a Master of Public Administration, and a Doctorate in Public Administration in 2020. She married her husband, Chief Apostle Bishop Christopher McQueen, on October 16, 1993; they have a son, Rashawn McQueen, daughter-in-law, Timmila, and two grandchildren, Rashawn Jr. and Raelynn.
Bishop Crystal answered her call to the ministry in 1994. She received her ministerial training under Bishop Arvell Garrett of Pinewood Tabernacle in Toledo, Ohio, the Late Mother Estella Boyd as a Daughter of Zion in Detroit, Michigan, and the Late Bishop Iona E. Locke of Abyssinia Christ-Centered Ministries in Southfield, Michigan. She was affirmed as a Prophetess and answered her calling into the prophetic in 1998. In 2016, she met and became a USA Country Coordinator with her friend and sister Archbishop Matilda Tarr -African Women of Jesus (AWFJ) and Rhema Christian Ministries International. In 2022, Chief Apostle McQueen appointed her as an Overseer in the CTKRM Kingdom Convergence Fellowship. She was affirmed as an Apostle and consecrated as a Bishop on November 30, 2024, in Anambra, Nigeria. She continues to travel with her husband locally and nationally, speaking, teaching, and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. She serves with her husband, Chief Apostle Christopher McQueen, who was consecrated a Bishop in the Lord’s church and became the Primate of CTKRM Kingdom Convergence Fellowship, where he presides over several churches and ministries under their leadership in the United States of America and around the world.
Bishop McQueen and her husband have founded several ministries and businesses. They birthed Christ the King Redemptive Ministries in September of 2002 in Toledo, Ohio. She founded the Women of Prophetic Destiny Conference and Fellowship (WOPD) in 2004. WOPD is a Christ-centered conference that aims to equip men and women to overcome limiting mindsets while walking into their God-given prophetic destiny and purpose. WOPD continues to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide with the proof of signs, wonders, and miracles while offering training, mentoring, and coaching. Chief Apostle and Bishop also have Convergence Leadership Training Solutions, which includes executive and leader coaching and mentorship, life and career coaching, bible-focused leadership training, workshops, and conferences featuring the “Cross and the Couch” seminars.
